I have a bit of a fussy eating toddler, as most toddlers are, and I will try anything to get her to eat healthily. For the most part, she chooses a banana over chips, and a yoghurt over sweeties. Don't get me wrong, I love those things too and I believe that everything in moderation is ok...but then I saw this recipe from Elmarie Berry Good Food and I HAD to try it!
I didn't copy her recipe completely. I am a mom to a 2 year old and a 7week old....so time is not always on my side, and I had to hack it slightly (for her original recipe click here).
Instead of making the muesli, I used ready made, store bought muesli (to be precise the Pick 'n Pay Chocolate Clusters - equally as yummy as a snack on its own!). I also used Almond Nut Butter that I already had, and maybe one banana less.
These make a great midday snack, and Elmarie says it also works as whole pie too...all I know is we will be making these again, soon!
It was so yummy and more-ish, can you imagine how good the original must taste?
