I have never been a fan of indoor play areas. They feel icky and I can literally see the germs flying around. OK, I know, I'm nuts...
So when I heard about The PlayStation in Tokai, I had my doubts. Serious doubts. But on a hot Saturday morning, those doubts were put to bed. I am now a fan - of The PlayStation!
I wish I was a kid again. I think I could've been happy here. But as a mom, I was happy there too. Because my bean was happy - like I had to drag her out happy. The area for the little tots (2-6 years) is amazing! A little town, complete with a hospital, grocery store and fire engine! Everything is made from a wood (of sorts, don't ask me; my husband could tell you in a hearbeat). But I liked it because it's neat, and clean! And not that gross plastic stuff.
And the older kids, holy smokes - so cool! Slides for days, and then, they have these fantastic "obstacle courses", with nets and balance beams, high up, so you are looking at your kids from below while they are having the time of their lives, without a care in the world. Why? Because the "child minders" are everywhere. Your kids are safe! And happy!
But they don't only have a great 'playstation'. The food isn't too shabby either ;0
Good coffee, good food, good service and yummy unicorn cupcakes! But don't take my word for it, why don't you go visit them and see for yourself. I am keeping this one in the bank for a rainy day and I'll be mother of the year.
